IT-Care GmbH was founded in September 2020 by Rolf Krause, based in Merseburg, after he was confronted with the consequences of a need for care and the associated problems in his private life.
IT-Care Holding AG was founded in October 2021 to facilitate the participation of potential investors and enable the future establishment of subsidiaries.
It quickly became clear that a place of business was needed, and the founders and first employees took the first steps in the history of IT-Care together. The first ideas were sketched out and implemented in an industrial estate on Willicher Damm.
The next big step for the young IT-Care GmbH was the move to the new company headquarters on Hennes-Weisweiler-Allee in Mönchengladbach's Nordpark in November 2022. Here we found the best conditions to continue pursuing our ambitious goals and to be able to grow in terms of personnel.
In the course of the expansion of Holding AG, IT-Care GmbH became IT-Care Software GmbH. As a result of these and other specifications, performance grew enormously and the MySina product solution developed rapidly.
In August 2023, IT-Care Holding AG was expanded to include the subsidiaries IT-Care Hardware GmbH and IT-Care Vertriebs GmbH. This separation of the individual divisions enables us to work even more efficiently and in a more targeted manner on the further development of our sensor-based care information system "MySina".
Over the course of November, we worked intensively on the further development of our visual identity and developed concepts for a new logo and an alternative color scheme. Our future direction includes a change from the previous "technical" look and color palette to warmer and more natural tones.
We have been ISO 9001 certified since the end of 2023 and therefore benefit from a mature quality management system. This not only strengthens our internal process landscape, but also enables a continuous improvement process. All components such as processes and structures are regularly put to the test and revised if necessary.
Rolf Krause is an experienced engineer in measurement and control technology. His extensive professional career as a German Internet pioneer and founder of several successful companies predestines him to be the driving force behind the company's development. His responsibilities include strategic orientation, product development and personnel management.
Benedikt Krause has many years of experience in marketing and sales. His professional experience at well-known companies such as NGK Spark Plug Europe GmbH and Junkerwerk Linder GmbH & Co. KG testify to his expertise in the development of customized marketing strategies.
With more than 35 years of professional experience in leading positions at national and international companies, Dr. Andreas Laschet is a significant asset to our path into the future. His successful activities at well-known companies such as Faurecia, Eberspächer Group, Kostal Mexican and Kendrion NV contribute to the realization of our future projects and corporate goals.

In order to put our product and the technological support in elderly care on a scientific basis, we have established a close cooperation with the Paracelsus Medical University Salzburg. Together, we are conducting the SensiCare study in our field test in Halle. This close cooperation with the university has enabled us to develop an evidence-based product for elderly care and care in general for the first time.
